Show Your True Self

A fixture of the 1980’s New York art scene, Basquiat often portrayed the dichotomy of class, race, and power struggles in the U.S. He could distill the noise of the outside world through a prism of creative work. In essence, he took in the chaos, projected the simpler truth, and it was up to us to deal with it—whether we liked it or not.

We always strive for authenticity at MeUndies, and we stand behind anyone who has the courage to stand up and reveal their true self to the world. Relationships are more meaningful, ideas are richer, and regret rarely exists when you can live as your authentic self.

When you successfully strip down the layers of what you think others expect from you, it can feel a little naked. But once the confidence and empowerment take over, the rewards are limitless. Basquiat reminds us on a daily basis to keep looking inward, to keep being honest, and to keep growing. We hope this print inspires you to be the real you—unfiltered and unapologetic.
