How to Store Your Bralettes Without Ruining Them

If you’re like us, you have roughly 100 different Bralettes in various colors, styles, and fabrics. Ones for pilates, one for a night out dancing, one for falling asleep at 8PM on the couch, the list goes on. Maybe we don’t need the ones that are literally from 2012 and don’t fit anymore but you can’t replace limited-edition prints so what choice do we have??? We need them all! Seriously.

But if you’re like us, you squash all your beloved bralettes into a drawer until they’re a tiny ball and only end up wearing the ones that are closest to the front. The ones in the back are forever lost, just a bundle of wrinkled forgotten fabric. By the time you manage to get your drawer fully open, these back-drawer bralettes may never again be themselves.

We’re better than this. There are limited-edition prints at stake. Let’s grow up, together, and learn how to store bras and bralettes.

How To Store Bras In Your Drawer

Setting Up Your Drawer

If you’re going to stick to the tried-and-true drawer method, you need to employ some structure, AKA folding.

Want to know how to fold bralettes? Answers vary at MeUndies HQ when it comes to this question. Because we’re into Bralettes as opposed to traditional bras, we’re not restricted by any stiff cups or underwire. Our folding options are limitless.

Some of us like to roll our Bralettes to maximize space. Imagine waking up every morning and plucking a new Bralette-donut out of your drawer! What a way to start the day. But this has drawbacks and can lead to the back-drawer-blues, so be warned.

Others like to fold their Bralettes into neat little squares by first folding in half lengthwise and then folding another time, sandwich-style. This is cute and all, but it also may lead to the BDB (back-drawer-blues) so again, be warned!

The laziest of us (ahem, present) are actually the smartest. We just lay ‘em out and line our drawers in a stack, no folding required. This is the best way for your Bralettes to maintain their shapes and ensure that no Bralette gets left behind at the back of your drawer. Be lazy!

For all these methods, just make sure that if your Bralette has a clasp, it’s clasped. We don’t want any accidental pulling or tugging!

Bra Drawer Organizer

If you can’t trust yourself to keep your drawer tidy and organized, that’s okay. We see you and we are you. Pick up a drawer organizer so that everything has a place and no Bralette ever suffers the fate of being forgotten ever again.

How To Store Bras In Your Closet

You’re going to want some velvet (or fabric-covered) closet-hangers for our other fave method of storing Bralettes. Place a Bralette on the hanger so that it can keep its natural shape, link another hanger from that, and repeat until you have a little Bralette-tree. Congratulations, you can call yourself a gardener.

This makes ‘em easy to grab and makes sure that your beautiful Bralettes won’t get stretched, torn, or wrinkled.

Additional Bra Storage Ideas

If you have a spare guest room and can just lay them around all over, we would recommend that, but we admit it’s probably not economical or practical in any way. Maybe get one of those beds that has drawers underneath.

There are tons of ways to store our ridiculously-soft and supportive Bralettes, so it’s kind of one of those follow-your-heart moments. Just please, please, please, don’t squash them up in a ball and leave them to die. Love you!
