Our Commitment to Justice & Equity for All

Today we were scheduled to launch our latest print “4th of July”. Featuring the American Flag, the product was meant to be a celebration—perfect for adding a little joy and comfort to your BBQ-filled holiday weekend with friends and family. Accompanied with spirited photography and colorful graphics, “4th of July” encompassed the bright and positive attitude we always try to express here at MeUndies.

However, in light of recent events, we saw this launch through different eyes. One of our core values is to help create a more thoughtful and accepting world where living your truth is celebrated. It deeply saddens us to see how far we are from achieving that goal in this country. Our flag is meant to symbolize freedom, liberty, and justice for all. Yet, even in 2020, we continue to fight for basic human rights and racial justice.

So, instead of releasing this print as a celebration, we’re releasing it as a reminder of our commitment to improve our country. Our flag should represent justice and equity for everyone. We’re trying to do what we can to make that a universal truth.

With that in mind, we have decided to donate ALL profits from our “4th of July” print to the Brennan Center for Justice, which works to build an America that is democratic, just, and free, in order to continue the fight for justice and equity for all. We selected this organization because the issues they focus on, including defending democracy, voting rights, protecting liberty, and constitutional change, feel most aligned with our intention behind the release of this print.

When you wear “4th of July”, you stand with us in our mission to create a more thoughtful and accepting world.

Thank you for your continued support,

The MeUndies Team
